Our Founder
Jennyfer Berrones Cantrell
Being born and raised in Ecuador, I always had love for the beauty industry. However, I didn’t realize or didn’t truly grasp how passionate I was about it until
I moved to United States, and tried my hand in the corporate World – immediately realizing that World was not for me.
Not long after my short lived stint in Corporate America, I decided to enroll Cosmetology School. I knew immediately that I had found my calling, falling in love with the industry, and getting my license in hair and makeup.
A few years in I became intrigued for eyelash extensions and decided to become a Lash Extentions Artist, quickly falling in love with this, as well.
I stop doing special occasion makeup application because I wanted to provide a more durable service, where clients don’t need to worry about the process of applying it every day, which as a woman, I know the struggle of having to do so.
This pushed me to get involved with Cosmetic Semi-Permanent Makeup. I started with eyebrows, where I became enamored by how much confidence this gave to women. I decided to Master this service, which led me to do the same in lips and eyeliner, as well, so that way I could provide the complete semi-permanent makeup look, which would save both time and energy for all of my beautiful clients.
Last year I decided to begin a new adventure and open “Beauty Lounge” to better provide these very services to my lash and semi-permanent makeup clients. I am also going to start my own Academy to teach others that share the same type of passion about this Beauty field, and to help them ignite their careers, by sharing my knowledge and experiences so far.
I still love doing hair and am grateful to still be doing so at an amazing place right next door to Beauty Lounge. I do this at The Color Room, where I provide hair services to my clients and am part of an amazing work family whom I adore.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
I truly adore my job. Coming to work is in no way a chore. I am beyond blessed and lucky to do what I love.
